*****

Korean food is obviously easy to find everywhere in Korea…from 빕빔밥 Bibimbap, 김치 Kimchi, 찹채 Chap Chae, 김치치개 Kimchi Chigae, 반찬 Banchan, 김밥 Kimbap, 김치전 Kimchi Jeon, 고주장 Gochujang, and to 자장면 Ja Jang Myeon, I am never in search of Korean food. However, finding non Korean food and vegetarian Korean food is a whole ‘nother artform. Living here has given me time to slowly explore what the city of Seoul has to offer. I will add more restaurants and cafes as I have the time.

Random side note: I miss Ethiopian food, and cannot find it here in Seoul. So below is my tribute to Ethiopian food. (Photos taken at Fasika in St. Paul, Minnesota)

From left to right and top to bottom: Vegetarian platter, Atkilt, Gomen, Kik Alicha Wot, Salad, Misir Alicha, Misir Key Wot, Injera, and close-up on Misir Key Wot.

Hi! I just found your website and am sooo happy. i’m hoping to move to Korea in February but being a vegan has made me nervous about living in a foreign meat dominate society. Thank you so much for your resources if i’m lucky enough to move to Korea i will be going to all your recommended eateries!
